Why can't I be rich?! I want to get a Wii, PS3 and XBox 360, but I am not the owner of many hundreds of available dollars. I have therefore formulated a strategy.
Around release time is when I buy the Wii. Since Nintendo has stated that the release price will be no higher than US$250, I can afford this and Twilight Princess no problem. Other games will follow, naturally.
Now the small saving begins. Over a few years money will have accumulated and better titles will be released for the PS3. That is when I will buy. Probably reduced price by then too.
Unless I strike oil or gold, I guess I have to settle for one thing at a time for now. |

I've got a new job - oh boy.
While it's not exactly my ideal job (getting paid millions to do whatever I feel like and have gorgeous women surrounding me the whole time), I will be getting money so that's cool.

This is starting to piss me off. It seems that all over the Internet one can find morons using 'your' as the all-purpose word for anything that has to do with 'you'. My personal favourite is "your stupid". My stupid? No, I don't believe I had a stupid, but thanks for pointing that out!
YOUR is used when referring to the second person's possession. "Your car" or "Your fish are dead". "Your grammar is of high quality."
YOU'RE is the contraction of YOU ARE, and is used when referring to what the second person is. "You're a jackass." "You're using proper grammar."
ARGH I had to get that off my chest. I wish the schools would teach more English grammar these days. |

| Wikipedia being strange |

Hrm... This is odd. I just went and had a look out of curiosity at the wikipedia article for Iqaluit. I don't know why. Anyway, I came across some vandalism so I decided to fix this. I did the ol revert, and explained it -> rv - vandalism
So I come to the history page and my username is not there (tis Dynamic Static by the way). My revert appears under the name username Basawala. At the time I reverted it. With the comment I wrote.
This is very odd. I have not logged in on any other computers, and no one on mine. It's not so much important as it is odd.

Speaking of Asian stuff... today I tried Chajang Myun and DAMN!!! It is good stuff. I have no idea what it tastes like because I've never tasted anything like it before. I'm very glad that I met Seyong, because he sure has introduced me to all sorts of interesting food. I used to think that Mr Noodles was all that existed with regards to oriental noodles. So far I've had shin ramyun, chajang myun, kimchi (both in noodle soup and salad forms), fried shrimp udon, and shrimp myun. I look forward to more wonderful Korean stuff. |

I was just pondering some Japanese words.
I was looking at the Japanese titles for Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest... which are Finairu Fantaji and Doragon Kuesuto.
Did the Japanese not have these words before meeting the West, or are they just writing English titles and "Japanizing" them?

This Saturday I will be competing along with my teammates at the ECOO regional competition with Sir Frederick Banting SS. It's a fun competition, and where I got my copy of VS.Net 2003 last year. Unfortunately, we placed something like 30th but still, to make it to the regionals was pretty cool.
I still have some more practice I want to do before going, but I'm ready. The contests from past years are here:

Ours would be under the Regional column. Anyway, should be fun.
I'm also considering taking a grade 12 math course at the highschool through night school so I can go to college (from what I've seen, besides some at George Brown and Mohawk, most courses need gr12 math :( ). I want to do something like network systems and programming... I'm also planning on buying the A+ texts so I can study up, get tested, and become a certified A+ tech.

Well, I'm off to format the HDD on my dad's PC. It's been running solid for 8 years now (8 YEARS!) without so much as a maintenance cleaning or anything. So, he's getting me to format the disk for him and reinstall Windows 98. Zoinks, he won't get a new one so okay. I will at least upgrade it for him slightly by giving him some components of my old junkers lying around, like more RAM, and a new video card. I'll give him a Rage II (yeah, his isn't even up to RAGE II !!! ) There have been Radeons and All-in-Wonders and Radeon Pros, and yadda so okay.
Anyway, we're finally replacing the router with a 802.11 g instead of the b. FINALLY my adapter will be able to go at its full potential! So I'll be off for a little while as I swap the routers, but not long, 15 minutes max. |

I figure I'll update once. May as well. The VayT progress is going fine. In the process of writing help files, I'm testing for any operational bugs. I'll fix and retest as I come across them. After this version, though, I don't know what's next.
Tonight I am somewhat exhausted and I certainly didn't feel like cooking an elobarate meal, so I decided to toss up some ramen. But I didn't want to not eat an elaborate meal. I settled for the middle-ground and fixed up the ramen and made it nice and classy.

Anyway, looking forward to March break, and finally beating DQ8 (it is much, much, longer than I had expected; awesome). |
